KIRANJON BOXERS

Welcome to the new home of Kiranjon Boxers based in the beautiful countryside of Angus.
We are a small showing and breeding kennel of boxer dogs. Our interest started many years ago with 2 pet boxers, Mica and Hagi, and has now developed into a fulltime hobby.
After we lost the two within a couple of months of each other we decided we needed another breed of dog and did the usual internet searches to find another suitable breed only to keep coming back to boxers. As both Mica and Hagi had Yosimar breeding in them the search began to try and find someone with that line still going and as luck would have it we did so we booked a puppy from the litter only for the bitch to not come into season when expected so the search started again. This time we ended up with Dixie (Emjaycee Country Music) and just after we picked her up we received a call to say that the other bitch had finally been mated so Max(Elybank Simply The Best ) came along too.
The showing interest came from our background in showing ponies when the children were young so it was inevitable that we progressed to showing the dogs this time. Dixie hated it but thankfully Max was a natural and did really well until he took a dislike to small dogs- one very quick retirement followed- by that time we had another puppy called Posy (Taranut Itza Bella) and she kept us going until our first homebred puppy took to the ring namely Kiranjon Thats Amore (Daisy) the result of a mating between Posy and Max. At Daisy's first champ show she shocked us all by winning a very good minor puppy class thus qualifying her for Crufts.

Another line in both our original dogs was Marbelton and this influence in still very strong in our breeding now as we were lucky to enough to get Alfie (Marbelton Global Warming) from John and Mary Hambelton.
A mating between Alfie and Posy produced a wonderful litter and from this we kept two girls, Abbie and Eva. Abbie repeated Daisy's win at the W & P show 2008 in minor puppy bitch and Eva, who was slower to mature got her ticket to Crufts at her second champ show by coming second in a strong yearling class at the Northern Boxer Club Champ show 2009.

Wanting to bring in new lines we decided to use the latest Marbelton import for Posy's last litter, Waterloo Vom German Dream. When I did some research into the Vom German Dream kennel I was very impressed by what they were breeding. I liked the type of dog and also the health of the dogs. This result of this mating was unbelievable. Posy had 9 puppies, sadly one was stillborn, and from the remaining 8 we had 4 boys and 4 girls. From the minute she was born Beth was mine, I had this gut feeling that she was going to be special and she has now proved she is as she is our first Best Puppy In Show at a all breeds show resulting in her getting her Crufts ticket for 2010 and her first show of the new year she went Best Special Minor Puppy In Show. Candy was also kept from this litter, she is different from Beth but just as stunning and with the most gorgeous head and eyes, slower to mature she will come back out later this year when she is ready.

This brings us upto date again with our story. We wont be attending many shows for next few months due to my accident but we will have babies in the next few days to keep us busy
